Cards, sessions, and settings

The app handles card photographs you select, recognized card grids, called numbers, transcripts, session names, game rules, and preferences to scan cards and track your game. Session information is stored in app-private storage on your device. We do not operate a cloud account or automatic session-sync service for this release. Device backups may be controlled separately by your operating system.

Camera, photos, and microphone

Camera and photo access are used when you scan or import cards. Microphone access is used when you start listening for announced calls. Background listening continues only when you enable that feature; use Stop listening to end it. The app does not intentionally retain raw microphone audio during normal use. Your platform’s speech-recognition provider may process audio on its servers depending on the device, service, and recognition settings. Apple or the selected Android recognition provider controls that processing under its own privacy policy. Review their policies and device permissions before use.

Optional cloud recognition

Local OCR is available. If you choose Hybrid or OpenRouter recognition, a compressed card photo or selected card region is sent over HTTPS directly to OpenRouter with the API key you supply. OpenRouter and your selected model provider process that request under their policies. Use images containing only the card information needed for recognition. Your API key is kept separately in platform-protected storage and excluded from session backups. You may remove it in recognition settings. See OpenRouter’s privacy policy.

Optional analytics

The app includes optional product analytics integrations for PostHog and Google Analytics for Firebase. Collection is off by default and requires opt-in and configured provider access. If enabled, bounded workflow events can describe platform, phone/tablet class, scan counts, broad duration or confidence ranges, listening state, and purchase product type. Card photos, grids, called values, transcripts, card labels, API keys, purchase proofs, names, and email addresses are excluded from these events. The app does not enable advertising identifiers, advertising personalization, session replay, or cross-app tracking. You can turn off optional analytics in Settings. Provider policies: PostHog and Google.

Purchases

Apple or Google handles payment. The app receives product and entitlement information to unlock features and restore purchases. We do not receive your payment-card details. Store records and refund processes remain with your store provider. See Apple’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

Sharing and support

Exporting a backup or sharing a support report sends the information you choose to the destination you select. Backups can contain session data and transcripts; protect them accordingly. If you email support, we receive your email address, message, and attachments to respond. We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising. This support website contains no analytics or advertising scripts; Netlify may process ordinary connection logs under Netlify’s privacy statement.

Retention and deletion

Local session information remains until you delete or reset it, or remove app data from your device. Exported copies remain wherever you store them. Support correspondence is retained while needed to resolve the request and related follow-up, or meet applicable recordkeeping duties; request deletion by email. Third-party processing and retention follow the respective provider’s policies. We cannot directly delete files or provider records outside our control.

Your choices and rights

You can delete cards, clear transcripts, reset sessions, remove your API key, disable listening, revoke device permissions, and switch off analytics. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of support information we hold. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to your local privacy authority. We use information to provide requested app and support functions, rely on consent for optional analytics, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Audience and security

This app is designed for adult bingo players and is not directed to children under 13. Do not send children’s personal information through support or card images. Device-protected storage and HTTPS reduce exposure but no system is completely secure. Keep your device secure and use a revocable OpenRouter key. Contact us if you believe personal information has been handled improperly.
